People face obstacles in life for a reason, they are finding the true meaning of life within them to achieve their destiny. Coelho is trying to say that fate does not control people’s destiny but you as a person do. Since people today are able to choose their own destiny in life, they would one day be happy and successfully achieve their destiny with hard work and experience. In order for people to succeed in achieving one’s destiny, people would have to overcome many challenges that face them along the way. People find and realize their dreams, and pursuing it would help them understand the true meaning of life.
